ATL Rappers played thier 1st competitive game in thier franchises history Monday October 2nd against the SouthWest Warriors at Ebster Gym in Decatur GA. It was a shortened exhibition game condenced by a running clock but it gave the rappers owner Kenny Kelly a good chance to see his team in compete for the 1st time against another pro ABA team and also work out some cob webs from his early Division 1 playing carrer. Kellys shot was off but he showed signs of quickness and accuracy with every shot and pass. Maurice Williams was impressive as well and looks to be a huge part of the Atl Rapper Franchise. Big Man #28 was a huge impact protecting the paint for the rappers and 00 was the #1 scoring option for the rappers attack scoring the 1st ever basket for the rappers hitting a 3 pointer off of an assist from Kelly on the games initual posession. 00 and Kelly seemed to have a great chemistry throughout the game assisting one another on several baskets even though they had never played togethr in the past. Unfortunately for the rappers 00 will be heading to Toronto to play in the new NBA Development league (G league) this week. Kelly is excited to have played his 1st game with him essentially sending him off which is what he plans to do with several other players in the Future for the Rappers. He hopes the Isaiah Dennis (Georgia States starting point guard a year ago and Maurice Wiliams will be able to step up and anchor the team to greatness this year.
